The parents of her are Harvey Welker who is Native American as well as Julie Welker who is African-American. Her mother is a real estate agent while her father works as an engineer. Walker attended the Germantown Friends School of Philadelphia's Germantown, where she received the diploma in 1994. When she graduated at Harvard College in 1998, she enrolled at Harvard College and earned her Bachelor of Arts. Welker married John Hughes in Philadelphia, who was an acclaimed marketing director. They have two daughters. They started an relationship in the year 2014. John her husband is four years younger than her. Since their relationship was prosperous, they chose to take the next level.
