Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English and half Spanish. The parents of her were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean with Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother has Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. The family was in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria region of London. Taylor-Joy said that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to go back to school in English in the hope of go back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she moved from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actor from a young age. She realized her dream after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
