Kelly Clarkson is an American singer and songwriter who became the nation's sweetheart following her win of the American Idol title in the premiere season. The win was more than a major success however, it also secured her a recording contract for multiple albums from RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. In the years since her win, she's released several album studios. From these that were released, three made the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were just two centimeters from. She has been one of America's top performers. After achieving success, she tried out different genres and themes, frequently writing her own songs with her personal feelings. Because of her distinctness and ability as a performer, she was praised by the media and received a number of important awards. In particular, she has received the Grammy Award a record three times. In addition, she has appeared on film and television. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved in a variety of charitable organisations.
