Beverly

Beverly Lumbres Caimen was born on June 20, 1994and is known under her mononymously as Beverly. She is a Filipino performer who is based in Japan under the AvexTrax label. She is well-known for her various soundtrack appearances including "Be the one" which was featured in Kamen Rider Build, and "Koko" (Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle). Beverly Caimen was born in Calamba, Laguna on June 20th the 20th of June, 1994. She is the third daughter of Ramon Vega Caimen (and Leticia Valdezlumbres). She also had a brother, and two sisters. Beverly started singing at the age five, when her mother enrolled Beverly to school. She was able to see she had a talent and that she could sing. She joined the school's choir at the age of 7 and began voice lessons at the age of 9 when her mother discovered time. At this point, she entered her first singing contest. The competition didn't go her way. Her mother encouraged her to keep going, as she felt she needed to gain more experience. Batangas State University awarded her a Bachelor of Science degree. in Psychology. Beverly began singing at amateur contests in pursuit of her dreams. She was awarded first place at the World Championships of Performing Arts. In the meantime, she recorded songs under GMA Records, and collaborated with Vehnee Saturno. Then she came out with Beverly Caimen, her first and sole album for GMA. Beverly was nominated for Best Performance at the Awit Awards and received the Harvest of Honors award of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She also won the A Song of Praise Music Festival year award for Best Performance.
